Transforming relocation and moving abroad services into accesible, personable, and affordable service

Valencia Concierge Arrival Services is a boutique relocation‑orientation service designed to support individuals, families, and professionals moving to Valencia. I offer both in‑person and online assistance to help newcomers navigate the practical, cultural, and logistical challenges of settling into life in Spain.

With 23 years of project management experience and extensive expertise in international relocation coordination — including import and export of household goods, global move planning, and cross‑border transition support — I bring a structured, human, and highly personalized approach to every client. After relocating myself to Spain, I understand firsthand how overwhelming the process can feel, and I am committed to making your move as smooth, stress‑free, and enjoyable as possible.

Born in Chicago, raised in Raleigh, and having lived and worked in more than ten countries, I bring deep cultural fluency and global perspective to every interaction. I speak native English, fluent Japanese (日本語), and fluent Spanish, allowing me to bridge communication gaps and advocate for clients with clarity and confidence.

Whether you are moving alone, relocating your family, or coordinating an international transition from abroad, Welcome to Valencia provides the guidance, structure, and local insight you need to feel at home from the moment you arrive.

“So, You’re Thinking of Moving to Spain” — €50 Consult

You love Spain. You’ve visited. You’re dreaming about living here. Now let’s talk about what that life actually looks like.

This one‑hour consult is your deep‑dive into real Spain — the lifestyle, the rhythm, the cities, the culture, and all the practical things nobody tells you. We’ll explore your wants, needs, medical considerations, retirement plans (or not), insurance options, and what different cities feel like day‑to‑day. You’ll get honest guidance on visas (not legal or gestoría advice), whether to ship or not to ship, what to research, who to consult, and what to expect.

By the end, you’ll walk away with a clear, confident picture of what life in Spain could be for you — plus a personalized guidebook and a pre‑move checklist to help you explore your options. It’s the perfect first step before planning that two‑week exploratory trip, held via Zoom.

Valencia “Live Here” Experience

Your day begins at 10:00 AM with real coffee in a real barrio café — the kind of place you’d actually go if you lived here. No tourist traps, no staged experiences. Just Valencia easing into its morning the way locals do.

Before you arrive, you’ll complete a short intake form and we’ll have a brief online meeting to understand your lifestyle, priorities, medical considerations, dietary needs, and the neighborhoods you’re curious about. That way, the entire day is built around you.

Over the course of eight hours, we’ll explore the neighborhoods that match your profile, visiting markets, grocery stores, pharmacies, department stores, clinics (from the outside), and gluten‑free or specialty cafés that fit your needs. You’ll see the places you would use if you lived here — not just the postcard spots. We’ll include a few light, meaningful sites so you get a feel for Valencia’s character without slipping into a sightseeing tour.

Midday, we pause for a local cultural snack with vermut — unless you’re alcohol‑free, in which case we simply skip it and choose something equally Valencian. Then we continue exploring the neighborhoods that align with your lifestyle and interests.

Later, we enjoy a relaxed lunch for up to four people, followed by an end‑of‑day recap to consolidate everything you’ve seen and felt.

Afterward, you’ll receive a personalized PDF city guide and checklist based on your intake form and the day’s exploration — including recommended restaurants and curated tours for the rest of your stay in Valencia.

All beverage and food costs included. €200 flat rate for up to 4 people. Any transportation needed during the day (taxi, bus, or train) is paid directly by the client.

Erin was able to help me navigate a very complex challenge on a rental contract that fell through. I had only 9 days to find an agent, see properties, submit all my docs, and be able to move in within 15 days. She was able to help me find an agent I felt comfortable working with, who was able to a contract for me in English and Spanish. Then able to show me properties in areas closer to where I liked, and within the range I was able to afford. Erin also was able to give me a list of doctors to explore and decide on and showed me all the stores in my area. She made things so much less stressful and connected me to a few gestors, and I was able to pick one who was able to help me to get all my appointments resolved fast. What a life saver!!!
